If I was a man on the Titanic while it was sinking I would be very angered and disturbed that the captain of the ship would not share with anyone that the ship was sinking. It's partly understandable because it had been said not to sink and the captain didn't want to admit that it was sinking. If I had seen the lifeboats which were filled only halfway I honestly wouldn't know what to do with myself. Some of the things that happened had two sides to them. The lifeboats not coming back for drowning people is a great example. If the lifeboat would have come back and been flipped over then there wouldn't be any survivors at all. Although some of the things the captain did and didn't do were very bad and inconsiderate he should be forgiven.
Interesting point. I agree with most of the things you said.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Even though the captain made some poor decisions everyone deserves to be forgiven.
